I've always had a passion to help business owners succeed and spend their time doing what they love to do not what they have to do. As a business owner I understand how many hats you have to wear, the trials and tribulations you experience and the huge number of mistakes which are part and parcel of the journey.

My experience as a Chartered Accountant working in practice for over two decades has given me insight into many industries.

For a number of years, I gained real world, hands-on experience in my role as Financial Director in the mechanical and industrial engineering industry. My colleagues who dealt with the day-to-day operations and I worked closely to understand, manage and grow the business finances. I certainly enjoyed aligning operations and finances to transform the business as a whole.

I like working with business owners on financial operations, internal controls, financial reporting and planning and understanding what internal accounting is required, not only for the Board but for those at the cold face who's lives directly affect and are affected by the figures.
